The Four Seasons…a name synonymous with service & luxury and when you put those in a place like Bora Bora you get one of the best resorts in the world. From the airport take a brisk 15 min ride (on one of the swankest boats around) to then be greeted by the blowing of a conch shell to signal your arrival.
ROOMS: I was incredibly lucky to get a peak inside the crème de la crème of accommodations…the Three Bedroom Beachfront Villa Estate– it’s over 5,000 sq ft and rarely available even if you could afford the extravagant price tag. Still impressive at over 1,000 sq ft are the Overwater Bungalow Suites with living room, bedroom and a bathtub where the shutters open up to the elements.
DINING: I happened to be on property on a Tuesday night when they host a Polynesian Show with amazing food served family style while you enjoy fire dancers & fun music (additional charge). The Sunset Bar is the obvious place to be in the evening & you can’t go wrong with any of their signature cocktails.
ACTIVITES: The list is endless: lessons from a tennis pro, shark & ray feedings/ snorkeling with a marine biologist, windsurfing, yoga…you get it…whatever you wish to partake in the staff can make it happen.
SPA: no surprise it is award winning and you can enjoy one of their signature rituals but I like the fact that all guests can use the facilities complimentary. Ladies- view from the vitality pool & sauna are spectacular.
