I was invited by the wonderful AMResorts to visit their Cancun/Riviera Maya properties for a fun week of site visits. I also took a day trip out CHICEN ITZA to check off one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Some of my favorite features of the AMResort properties are:

Set in a tropical landscape of evergreens, wheat-colored sand and sparkling sea, combining a AAA Four Diamond award designation with Unlimited-Luxury® amenities, Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun offers the perfect escape for couples, singles and families.
PROS: Adult only pool featuring Bali Beds (with outlets), Preferred Club rooms w/ direct access to the beach
CONS: no elevators on property, some rooms a bit of a walk to main areas
DREAMS Riviera Cancun
Set along a natural white-sand beach in the Riviera Maya, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and the crystal-clear Caribbean, Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa is a luxurious oasis for couples, friends and families.
PROS: Maybe the best staff out of all the properties (and that’s saying something because they were all wonderful)
CONS: I didn’t find one but again I only did a site visit and did not stay here.

PROS: Perfect for an active social couple, has 8 Pools- 8 Bars & 8 Restaurants!!!
CONS: Not the best for a Honeymoon although they do have quieter spots on property.

Harmonious. Sublime. Exquisite. Tucked away on one of the most pristine and famous beaches in all of Mexico, this AAA Five Diamond Resort is the perfect setting for adult adventure, relaxation, romance and Unlimited-Luxury®.
PROS: Top rated of all Secrets, best resort for Honeymooners, located on one of the best beaches in the Riviera Maya
CONS: Disappointed in the Swim Out Suites with very little privacy and small pool.
