Athens was the first stop on a Girls Getaway to Greece! I traveled with my best friend Leslie to explore this incredible country and of course had to stop to see all the old stuff. Our two days in the capital were spent visiting the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Temple of Zues ect. that can be access with a Unified Pass (recommended) + an additional entrance fee for the Museum but worth it.
We stayed at the Plaka Hotel in the heart of the historic district which offered incredible views, an unexpected but impressive buffet breakfast and walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and attractions.
