You can see this incredible coast line 3 ways… air, land & sea. I was fortunate to do 2 of them with a hike and helicopter tour.
HIKE: Take to the Kalalau Trail which has two popular options: 4 mile round trip to the beach or 8 mile roundtrip to the waterfall…I sadly didn’t even make it to the beach but for good reason- this trail is no joke & after encountering an intense downpour (which is the norm) the trail got slick and even more tricky. The hardest part is that first half mile but you are treated to some of the best views at “Windy Point” so if you are short on time or wish to do 1 mile it’s not a waste!
HELICOPTER: There are many companies to choose from but if you do not splurge on the Island Helicopters Jurassic Falls tour you are missing out!! Easy check in by Lihue Airport & you are off on by far the best way to see the island (only 90% is accessible by car) see Waimea Canyon, land and explore Jurassic Falls & of course get the best views of the Napali Coast! $269.00 Per Person
