Positano

Positano has been at the top of my wanderlist for as long as I can remember…and it should be at the top of yours too but the biggest tip I can give you is go in the shoulder season. When we visited in October it was perfect (water a bit chilly but refreshing) shops & restaurants open with no reservation issues and ideal weather! June July & Aug are peak with expensive hotels & crowds that will clog up the small alleyways throughout the town.

STAY: The instafamous Le Sirenuse (price reflects the popularity) but stunning nonetheless- other luxury options I love are Villa Treville, Il San Pietro di Positano or the Belmond Hotel Caruso in nearby Ravello. See my full list HERE

TO DO: #1 is a private boat along the Amalfi Coast- Blue Star Positano did a wonderful job with our last min request but I would book you in advance for the most epic day! Walk & shop but get ready for tons of stairs…stop as many times as needed for gelato or an aperol spritz.

EAT: Chez Black- pizza & seafood pasta. Bucca di Baco -best pesto I have ever had! Ocean Bar- right on the beach with such a fun staff (check my highlight on insta) – must is the limonchello spritz.
