By far one of the best experiences of my life was walking a cheetah at the Lion Park in Johannesburg. We had a few short days in transfer to Safari and they were not to be wasted, so stepping off a 12hr flight from Heathrow we headed directly to the park. Meet Maasai the amazing animal I got to wander around with. *I would like to point out that I was extremely lucky as this tour can accommodate 30 people, but being the only one signed up I got to have a private encounter.  The Cheetahs are “clicker trained” meaning they use positive reinforcement when they are taught to sit, wear a harness and hop on arock scale. Also at the Park you are able to go in and play/cuddle with lion cubs or feed a giraffe.
