Located just 15 min from the Shannon Airport, but feels worlds away, is Dromoland Castle.
The highlight of the stay by far was the Hawk Walk with Dave & Alice. You can see Dave here with Samantha Brown from Travel Channel. The experience was so fun & informative and I highly recommend this castle activity.

The remaining time I explored the grounds and that evening had a wonderful dinner Earl of Thomond (reservations recommended) followed by Irish coffee & music by the fire in the cocktail bar -A perfect ending to exploring the Irish countryside.
